hello expert friends,

i have little confusion about communication between s7 1200 and s7 200 smart plc,

is there any possibility to communicate  with use of profinet ?

if possible how can we do it?

if any suggestion please write your suggestion at here ,

don't know Smart HW, but can give info/idea with standard S7-200 (22X CPU HW). Do You want use Profinet interface on S7-1200, but Ethernet with TCP or ISO protocol? If yes, I don't see problem with Ethernet module on S7-200 side and connect to S7-1200. I'll be prepare on S7-1200 open communication via T blocks for Exchange data with 200 CPU. What will be Server/Client, you'll select. Only quick standard idea... Hope someone will give you right Smart info.

The S7 200 SMART is for the Chinese and Indian market, so in this forum there is not much to see, try the example below if it works, but it has a S7 200 "standard".

shame for me never worked with that Smart, no experience. I think that protocols are same also on that other market Devices. Also thanks for share that example my friend.

Just check the video.  I have made  a simple way to transfer data between s7 1200 plc and s7 200 smart PLC. you can try this way.
