Good morning Martin, In order to get to a solution, ASAP, you should open a ticket delivering all the information and files to see the scenario. Here you can see how to do that: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109474501 it is easy and fast, it is also important to document what has been done and sayd :-) First of all, please make sure that you really (for your environment) need to use the RemoteLicenseSupplier. Based on the information which I can see here, I would comment the following: - How about testing the Dongle with the Dongle.exe, which can be found in the Bin directory of COMOS (after you have installed it, COMOS)? Does it shows the Dongle ID, are the tests OK? If the ID of the Dongle and license does not get showed, also the Tests are not OK (after pressing the test button), you should uninstall the driver you got (I would like to assume that you have installed one, as that is mandatory) and install the right one following the steps in this FAQ:
- I am sure that the license you have, has the type "SERVER", you I would say/guess that you are using it in the wrong manner, in the wrong way, as it is not a "LOCAL" one. For that license, you must use the CLS, the ComosLicenseServer. All the very best, SuperPippo |
