Hello Lovins allow me to quote Wikipedia and agree that"RS485 only specifies electrical characteristics of the driver and the receiver. It doesNOT specify or recommendany communicationsprotocol". There's plenty of protocols available that can operate on RS485 (e.g. Profibus DP, Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, CAN just to name a few) and as such Kaulquappe's question about the protocol that you intend to use still needs to be answered before we can recommend anything to you. |
