Hi, I have communicated with more the 4 PLCs, no need to do WARM restart for any of the PLC. Just deativates the Communication Activate Bit (which means Enable) and weight for some time (approx 10 sec ) and re-enable the Activate bit it works fine.

Hi, Find the attachment for the Logic I have created for CPU-CPU communcation using the open communication wizard. For simplification and easy operation I made a FB 400 (Communication between CPUs - Driver block) which need to be called and passed with different parameters depend on the which CPU we are going to communication. Just duplicate the FB 400 for communication with new CPU's, no need to do any thing with all communcation blocks. If communication fails, Just SET Abort an RESET init andRESET Abort an SET init (Shown in VAT table)with some time delay and the communication will be reestablished (no need of warm restart).

I think for communication between Siemens PLC GET/PUT are better solution and for third party device Tsend/Trcv are good!! If I am wrong Pls correct me! |
