You may use cp340 or cp341 for communication purpose. PLC side you need to add some block refer the below link. Hello@shish For reading Energy meter data into PLC using Modbus, you would need Modbus Master Driver and not Modbus Slave Hello Abis First of all, if you are not very familiar with Modbus RTU Protocol, please go through this excellent post by smiffy: Modbus General Description For communicating with Energy meters on Modbus from S7-300 you can either use CP30 / CP 341 ( Additional drivers required ) communication processors in S7-300 / ET200M Rack or 1SI Modbus Module in a ET200S Rack. ( I Personally recommend the latte ) Here are a few useful links for you : SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS protocol, RTU format, S7 is master SIMATIC ET 200S Serial interface modules Modbus Master Sample Project Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |
