How about starting your self-training with free material from Siemens, both video and tutorial documents:

Basic Training Tutorials(mostly video)

Siemens S7 Training Curriculum Download(both TIA Portal and Step 7 5.5 are available)

SIMATIC PCS 7 Tutorial

You will find a section on Safety in the PCS 7 tutorial link.

I suggest you start with this material, it will take you a long way to knowledge of Siemens automation. Later you can decide if you want to have more formal training, for specific needs.

Hello Experts,

I would like to know if there is possibility of getting training materials from seimens by paying it. Unfortunately due to time constrain and travel, I feel I will not be able to attend the course in the training center. Rather I would do it by myself if I am able to get the training material for Safety and a basic course on Simatic programming languages using any of seriles like ET200s or so. As I have the hardare at me. I am looking forward to hear your response.

Thank you for your response. I want to have some examples and training material on Saftey. The safety modules those used are 6ES73261BK02-0AB0, 6ES7 326-2BF01-0AB0. It is a Digital Input and Digital Output module. It is used with S300 Series. Looking forward to hear your response.
