Hello Osiris; I agree twith captinjon that the normal way of connecting a S7 PLC to a computer is to use either a dedicated Profibus processor in the PC with the integrated Profibus port of the CPU, or a standard NIC in the PC with a comm. processor in the PLC rack. However there are alternatives offered by other manufacturers, and they can be found on the web easily enough.
