Hi, I am back at site for 10 days, so I can test again if there are other solutions. As first I tried to start again with a new connection as described by fritz in the screenshot and specially looking after the points described by J_Bell. But there is still no change. When I go online in NetPro the connection still says that the connection “is being set up”. When I open the property’s window the details keep saying “reason for cancellation unknown”.I have also tried to connect to a PLC of mine, another 400 PLC and with that configuration, exept for the position of the CPU everything was the same and that is working.I have added some screenshots, maybe you see what I am doing wrong. As a remark, I use a S7 400 plc so I am using the SFB14. Is this right or will this give problems trying to connect to the 300 PLC? Thanks in advance,Kurt Attachmentscreenshots.zip (484 Downloads) |

Hello Kurt_Enzlin please ask you Chinese colleague to reduce the number of reserved S7 Basic communication from 11 to 0 and your conection problem will hopefully be solved(he will need to do this in the offline HWconfig, followed by a download). Put simple, you need one free "Other communication" resource to get your "GET/PUT" S7 connection established (GET/PUT uses "S7communication" resources and NOT"S7 Basic communication" resources). Problem is that there is already one "Other communication" resource in use in your online screenshot while the reserved communication resources (PG, OP andS7 Basic communication)total 15(and 16 is the maximum for that CPU). I hope this helps (andthe credit for solving this really needs to goto J_Bell, I'm merely stepping in while he will probably be ready to get out of bed by now). |

New question published by deadguitar is split to a separate thread with the subject S7300 - Can I use Get/Put blocks to transfer data using Profibus Master-Slave Connection?. Best regards |
