Hello sfa; Anybus has a line of X-gatewaty protocol converters that could help you. For example theyoffer a Profibus-DP master to EtherCat slave gateway: http://www.anybus.com/products/products.asp?PID=384&ProdType=Anybus%20X-gateway You can select different protocols to suit amost any application.
