first I should mention that I am new to this specific application,

I have 2xS7-1200 controllers in different locations one of them is connected to an encoder to measure distance. I need this PLC to transmit the scaled analog value to the other one and this value to be interfaced with third-party systems using Profibus.

is this applicable?

do you have any suggestions?

is there any siemens example for SUCH AN APPLICATION?
