Hello all!

Is there any way to find and download GSDML for ABB Robot? Or it can be only obtained from ABB directly? Second thing, anybody got example project with starting the drives, sending program number to the robot?

Vendor specific GSDML files are always from the Vendor it self, not from Siemens.

 I know i just wanted to get it without ordering the robot, eh You guys are such a big help 

Be aware that there is not a standard Profinet card ABB used different suppliers and types.

check the DVD’s that came with the robot.

Or ask the ABB help desk you will need Robotserial nr and Robotware version number.

Location of GSDML files

The provided GSDML file for the IRC5 PROFINET device is used to inform the connecting PLC / PROFINET controller of supported connection parameters. The GSDML file, GSDML-V2.xx-ABB-Robotics-PNSW-Device-YYYYMMDD.xml, for the internal device can be obtained from the RobotStudio or the IRC5 controller. • In the RobotWare installation folder in RobotStudio: ...\RobotPackages\ RobotWare_RPK_\utility\service\GSDML\ • On the IRC5 Controller:\PRODUCTS\\utility\service\GSDML\
