Hello ZumaPLcero; The document attached to this link will provide much of the information you need for Global Data exchanges. Basic communication between CPUs with global data https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/430498 The limit of 22 bytes per Global Data package send if for S7-300 CPUs as senders, for S7-400, it is 54 bytes. The limit of 22/54 bytes is per exchange, you can send more than one if you need to transfer more data between CPUs. You can configure Global Data exchanges in Netpro, by selecting an MPI network and opening the Global Data table, this is explained very well in the document mentioned above. You will find a sample program for GD comms between 2 S7-400 CPUs in the following link: Global data communication of two S7-400 CPUs via the K bus https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/2012983 Alternatively, you can program GD exchanges using SFC 60 and SFC 61, as explained in the System and Standard Functions (for S7-300/400) manual, in Ch. 20, SFCs for Global Data Communication: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109751826 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
