my customers uses Desigo Insight server with PXC100-E.D devices. Everything works correctly when PXC100-E.D devices are in the same vlan/ip-subnet then Desigo Insight server but now we have problem with new installation.

This new installation is in different location than old ones and behind carriers mpls-network. So traffic from Desigo Insight to PXC100-E.D goes throught ip routing. I can ping the PXC but I can not connect it Desigo server. So in the new location there is different ip-network than in old location.

Is this solution supported with PXC and Desigo Insight? Can there be an carrier mpls-network with IP routing between the server and PXC or should the connection be layer 2 vlan stretch?

Hi,
Take in account: BACnet communication uses for several services Broadcast messages. Broadcast are unlike in a IP environment so that the IP router will block them.
To ensure BACnet communication spanned over IP segments -> therefore us the BBMD functionality.
Basically: Activate FDT on PX device and define in DI FDP by point at the PX device (by IP address).
Further note: Firewall rules, managed IP switch rules (incl. open ports eg. BAC0 )

FDT is enabled in PXC device. Desigo insight server configured as in attached picture.

Still no connection... Any suggestions?

Can you please attach a screen shot of how you have configured the connection in Desigo Insight? The examples provided so far are from XWP only.

Hi! Attached is connection configuration.

I also took packet capture from switch where insight server is attached. I can see traffic both ways from server to px and from px to server. The server wont answer when px sends packets with bacnet protocol -> unconfirmed-REQ who-has and unconfirmed-REQ I-have device, 2098179 analog-input, 15 and 16.
