Hello Biagio , I have seen the configuration image. You are switching the power supply of the RS485 repeaters with two DO's. That would be the problem, I depict. How?? The RS485 repeaters are active repeaters used to couple the bus and amplify the siganl strength. The active means it needs some power to deliver the output. Once you make an changeover to CPU 1, actually cutting off power of CPU0 repeater. That means, repeater acts as dead box with zero output. As a result communication loss with your HMI. Can you please try connecting OLM cable CPU1 repeater when you switch to CPU1 from CPU0. I'm sure that will retrive you HMI S7 connection. Secondly, I dont think an active resistor needs to be used. I hope this would be terminating resistor. If you canshare MLFB would be helpful. Best Regards, -- |
