hello friends,

We have an Endress hauser CCM 253 device to integrate into the PLC through Profibus DP.

we have installed GSD file for DP but it installed under PA

we configured it in HW...see the attached 

kindly update how to program (read data from these measurements) in Step 7

we need to measure 1) Chlorine 2) pH 3) temperature....

please help us by any hints / tips /manuals etc

Yes.

normally an AI module has 2 bytes but here it has showing 4 bytes & in the description it tells 32 bit floating point

You get the measured value in real (float) format using 4 bytes and a status byte for each physical property. e.g. PID264 and PIB268 for the "Main measurement value".

can you show an example how we will use this in step 7.

say if i need to use it as displayed value to show in HMI in DB1. 

1) we need to scale this value ?

2) how to convert this PID264 value into DB..just load & transfer?

Scaling should not be needed.

DB1.DBD1 should be defined as a real variable.

Checking the status byte is also recommended (see page 20 for the codes).

I would use PID and PIB and define MD100 as real. Otherwise it's OK.
