To be honest, I am also somehow looking forward to encountering an undue amount of either "entertaining" ordownright sillyoreven outright bizarre entries(your choice in which category this post belongs). My suggestions for this Premium Campaign is as such this: Engage a Psychologist to analyse the posts during the Premium Campaign and present his findings here when the Campaign is finished, I'm sure it will make for an interesting read Edit: Campaign has been underway for a week or so now by now and I must say I am amazed at the flurry of activity (spare a thought for the Moderators who certainly have their work cut out for them at the moment...). Good news too that the Quality of entries has not (yet) suffered too much and here's my suggestion for every Campaign participant who's "struggling" to come in first with his or her answer: Seize the opportunity to reply to old and still unanswered threads. There's still stacks of "dormant" threads in every Catagory which never received a single reply. While your answer may not help the person who started the thread, it will help anyone in the future who searches the forum for answers. Note that you can sort each catogery by "Replies" (simply click on the column header) so its very easy to findall unaswered threads.

I have seen some users who have very less posts, recently started posting to come in ranking list. If you read threads, they are giving answers to threads which are already solved. They just put their thoughts in every post saying that you check this and that but thats meaning less because problems had been solved already. I think users should check the date of post and read all answers before posting new answer Regards, Devesh

But they are not employees of the Online-Support-Team. These Siemens-guys are here in their free time so they are allowed to take part in this permium campaign Best regards O_Moderator

And our aim is to rate posts with quality higher than posts without any info. And we are always trying to increase the qualitiy of our point-based-system. Maybe our system is not yet the best, but we are trying to be better every day. Tremenduos activity and lots of useless post or maybe posts which tell the same as posts before, but in other words. In the end you have threads with a lot of posts and so little information that user can be lost. Why it is not ok ? Because when we have no premium campaign then I can see posts from yesterday that has no replies because no one is interested or don't know the solution and don't like to write just for writing. Other case is when premium campaign is active. If you do not know answer you just can write anything or something similar from above posts, but in other words. If we had such activity when campaign is not active tehn everything would be ok I guess, but now we can see a lot of posts posting just for premium points. I even remember some users from premium campaigns which were hyperactive during campaign and then suddenly dissapeared. My suggestion is to run campaign and don't give any points and premiums or run campaign silently. I mean we will have message from Siemens that campaign is over and you are at place xx. Then users will not know about any ongoing campaign and it will be normal activity and normal posts. Now we have tremendous activity with ramdom posts for month or two and thats all. It would be nice to have great activity for whole year

We have some random users who tries to post as much as they can, get their premiums and dissapear, but true active users stay in the shadow. Users who are active and helpful whole year. So the main problem I can call is fake activity. We can change this by changing rules. I gave my suggestions and I hope we can have more suggestions anyway. Best regards, Darius

And we are always interested in your opinion about such things, because maybe you got some new infos which could help us getting better. . . . Perfectly put! IMO, the primary aim of the premium campaign is to boost activity in the forum, that is, attract/encourage new members and stir the dormant users out of sleep. The primary aim is quantity and not quality. The aim is technical discussion of experiences and not a solution to a problem in every post. For merely solutions to problems there are FAQ's, manuals and hotlines. And in achieving these aims the premium campaign is succeeding splendidly! And moreover (as the O_Moderator has stated) the point system has been tweaked compared to the last campaign. So, fellow members keep up the posting! Regards All
