Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with : UA server find servers error : Could not open UA TCP request channel. This problem appears after a power fail of the PC.

My configuration : Windows 7 Pro with Simatic Net V13SP1 installed.

I have made "Allow - remote basic communication and OPC communication" but without success.

Does anybody can help me ?

which OPC Server do you use? (Third Party or Simatic Net)

Disable Anti Virus Software or Firewall. Ist the OPC Server and OPC Client on the same computer?

I am also facing the same problem. In my case the server and the client both are on the same laptop.

Please give us more Information like:

- Which OPC Server do you use?

- Which OPC Client do you use (Version of the OPC Scout)?

- Do you use OPC UA or OPC DA (DCOM)?

- and so on..

the server is installed in TIAv14 , the vesion of OPC server is v8.2.0

the vesion of scout: OPC Scout v10

via the scout the access is possible, but when I run the simple client or opc ua client I get the above mentioned error (could not open ua tcp request )

what I did is: I enabled tcp ports in firewall that they could pass through and as well as disabled antiviruses
