Hi,

sorry, don't know this system. But if Wonderware works with S7300/400, I think it can work with 1200 also. Try the same driver as for 300/400.

· When adding the PLC, select S7CP_200 Object rather than S7CP Object

· Use default TSAP must be deselected.

· Local TSAP doesn’t matter

· Remote TSAP must be “3.00” This allows DASSIDirect to access the PLC as an unconfigured connection e.g. doesn’t require setup on PLC end

I used it to connect to a 1500 PLC.

For the 1500 the driver must be version 3.1 ( Sp1)

On top of the tutorial you created I also used indications from the Citect forum :

"From the field we also experienced that within TIA-Portal you must not forget to UN-TICK the property "optimized block access" attribute on the DB's you want to read in SCADA. And a second thing about the CPU -> Properties -> Protection; make sure you TICK the "Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner" and the protection itself must be set to "full access"

Combine that with R=0;S=1 and you see commucations fly...." (thanks to rien.vangeffen )

With that the HMI connection is working.

Hi All,

Got this working myself this morning. After many headaches.

Used the DASSIDirect V3.0 driver.

Was very difficult to setup. The WWClient application was very helpful, you can download from Wonderware when you download the driver.

Nothing seemed to work until i ran the WWClient, but i think that is because i had the wrong addesses selected.

I have made a small word document detailing my config. IP address are for test system.

Kepware OPC Server can connect to S7-1200
