So just trigger TUSEND with the positive edge of the DONE of TCON for example. (if TCON.DONE AND NOT TCON.ERROR thenTUSEND.REQ:=1 END_IF;) And please note. the status of TCON and TUSEND shows the value only for one cycle. So please insert a network, which copy in case of error (error-bit = true) the value of status in another variable. So you can be sure, is an error occurs or not. Can you also send me the configuration of the DB which is connected with CONNECT of TCON? Thx

Get your TCON working, and you are 99% there with udp on s7-1200. I found this old topic as I'm in the process of building my own UDP send functionality in S7-1500 TIA V15. Everyone in the topic seems to fully agree that you need to have TCON working before using the TUSEND. But why? I can't find any official documentation that states that you need the TCON for UDP communication. Even the "SampleLibraryForInstructions_v1.0.3_V15" library doesn't mention anything about TCON with the UDP example. All documentation I can find simply states that the only "connection" you need is the connection ID (From device configuration -> Network view -> Connections). Is this TCON something that was required by TIA in the times past, but no longer?
