I learnt SQL, ADO and VB / VBS / VBA using the internet. Takes a long time and a lot of effort but it's free [:D] I would strongly recommend a training course on SQL, ADO, VB, database fundamentals, etc. However if this is not feasible then here are a few sites to get you started ... Great for fundamentals and examples http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/default.asp http://www.w3schools.com/sql/default.asp http://www.w3schools.com/ado/default.asp VBA http://msdn.microsoft.com/vba/ VBS http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/script56/html/c5218612-eb23-4729-817c-65ffd0d41b61.asp Microsoft script repository http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx Only use V6 examples ! http://www.wincc.net/ ... and of course, good old Google Groups http://groups.google.co.uk/grphp?hl=en&tab=wg&q= Like I say, none of these will be exactly what you want. However it should be enough to get you started. The Connectivity Pack is a developers tool and expects you to already know all this. If you don't then you may want to consider DataMonitor instead. DataMonitor requires no scripting knowledge [;)] |
