Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	I have an adquisition system with PCS7 V5.0 SP2, the project name is OS_2 in WinCC V5.0 SP1. My problem is: runtime file OS_2rt.db increase his size constantly trought the time, and finally computer goes down because there is no more free space in hard disk. What must I do in order to prevent this situation? How can I to avoid that file become so big? Thanks in advanced.

You can observe, how much the data base in a day increases. In FAQ 144377 in our internet site is described, how to calculate the space requirements for measured value archives. Our internet site is http://www.siemens.com/automation/csi_en/product For WinCC Runtime database, there is a maximale limit. The limit is 2 GByte.
