I have a Simotion D435-2 controlling some Sinamic drives.

The customer tells me that they power cycled the machine and since then our machine will not start. When we try to turn on the machine we continuously get technology faults across all the axis. Looking in the Sinamics diagnostic buffer most of the drive objects are returning cyclic data transfer errors.

I have attached the log file.

Can anyone advise on the corrective action here?

Could something on the CF card have become corrupt during the power cycle?

Well you have several 1910 and 1912 faults, which are related to the sign of life of the Drive Cliq communication.

If this machine ran for long time then this is a problem of communication. So check cables, check if one or more ports of DQ is damaged, check for noises.

If this is the first time you commission it, then there could be something related to parameters, and in this case I let to the experts to help you

Yes this machine has been running now for several years.

We used Simotion D controllers on every machine and I have not experienced this issue before.

Siemens believe there maybe an issue with the internal bus between the simotion and sinamics controller. We have tried changing cables etc. We can control drive through the sinamics control panel no problem.

We are currently waiting for a new PLC.
