Hello all,

I'm new on this topic and with this type of PLC. I wonder if it is possible to configure the S7 that it will accept incoming DCF77 time signasl to sync the TC of the S7? I can't find a solution for it.

Is it possible to set a weekly schedule to enable/disable an output?

If you have a proper DCF77 (filter) amplifier to be connected to a PLC input you can "fairly" easy create a function block to convert DCF77 signals to time.

That would be quite nice if it is possible. 

Yes, I have a good DCF77 receiver which is receiving good signal. I have it now connected to one of the inputs of the PLC. But I don't know how to make a function block to convert the receiving signal into time. Can you help me with that?

Also I need weekly programmers to enable a output for a couple of minutes. For example ''Go on at 10:00 until 10:15''. If possible, per specific date/time... Is this possible?

I did a try ages ago as a learning curve.

* (init)setup table according to the number of bits you need (AT_T_TBLE) (I tried bit wise but this was easier)

* determine the pulse length with BGN_ITIME / CAL_ITIME instruction or a 1(10)ms timer.

* use logic to determine the pulse is 0(low), 1(high) or Start of minute (2sec)

* each pulse is add to table from Start of minute.

* at end of loop (2 sec) do the CRC check(P1, P2, P3), use logic to convert the table to time and update CPU time.

This is more or less the basics how to work.

Hint: Use F1 (help) and the manual a LOT!! to understand the instructions and how to use it.

I tried to follow your instructions but i can't get it work. I'm new to this type of programming this kind of PLC. Is there a video or something that I can follow? 

I'm running STEP7 Microwin on Windows 11 atm. For some reason the help (F1) is not working, maybe because of the newer OS.

Is there also a instruction for the weekly programmers? That would be a pleasure.

I don't have a example anymore, but there are plenty programming examples on the internet on different instructions and how to use it. try read, download and watch how things works.

About the help files in windows 10. Use the search on this forum on this section.
