Over this group you will normally get the needed rigths to work with the SW. You could also try a repair-installation with full admin-rights and with deactivated anti-virus-scan. Latest version of Step7 5.5 SP4 can be found here: Trial-Download SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 hope this helps, regards,

The solution was to change the font being used to display the logic. Go to Options->Customize->General tab, and select a font that has more than one size listed.
