SINAMICS V90 PN failed to connect with V-ASSISTANT throug Ethernet

Snitsig20 Member Joined: 1/23/2018 Last visit: 1/27/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear, When I started up V-ASSISTANT the first time, I could make a connection through Ethernet with the Sinamics V90 PN (6SL3210-5FB10-4UF1). After installation of some other software (PLCnext Engineer from Phoenix Contact) this connection did not work anymore. I get the message 'Failed to search Ethernet Interface'. The USB connection is still working. When I reinstalled V-ASSISTANT I got the following message: 'A newer version of WinPcap (...) is already installed...'. I just continued with the installation, but no success. Has anyone a solution for this. Thanks, Rudy Attachment Knipsel.JPG (1011 Downloads)

Probably the problem is caused by windows updates. Solution: Uninstall Wincap/WinPcap or Npcap and install the latest version. The problem will be fixed.
