Yeah. I made a project with 2 PLCs with exact same settings + code, except ofcourse X2 IP was different. When I make OP, i need to connect it to 1 profinet (i cannot connect it to 2 profinets, from each CPU). so I decided to connect it to profinet CPU1 (PN1 for example). I loaded OP (image v14) and it's working. When i connect it physically to PN2, everything works (reading of tags and alarms, etc), except profisafe.

If i switch OP to PN2 (in PLC2 HW config) and re-load OP, profisafe works within PN2 but not within PN1.

only solution that i see would be that i have 1 project with only 1 PLC, and that same project I would load to 2 PLCs. no other option probably.

I was in the same situation; I was working with TIA V18 Update 5 & TP1200 Comfort “Image 17.00.00.08” without any problem.

I have make try with TIA V20 Update 1(same project as with TIA V18)

=> Result: load PLC ok, load hmi was not possible and get the error message 8020AB001992FFF4

I have try to make "maintenance => Pack and go" and I get the message "file image C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V20\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0\Images\CP_7_9\CP_7_9_12_V17_0.fwf" missing

I have check that I have theses image in the folder C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V18\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0\Images\CP_7_9\CP_7_9_12_V17_0.fwf"

I have make a copy of the folder "C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V18\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0\Images" to "C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V20\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0\Images"

=> Result: load hmi was possible but I have font size issue (smaller) // problem that I Don't have when I am using TIA V18...

Unfortunately, I fear that SIEMENS will not work on this problem in the future… That means; stay on TIA V19

Agreed. We halted installation of TIA20 on all developer PC's and will not go forward with it, until TIA18 or TIA19 is "too old" to work with or this OP stuff gets clearified in some way. It's not just about text font/size being different (V14 compared to V17 panel image), it's general concept that with TIA20 panel images 15, 15.1 and 16 are just not supported/available that baffles me. We are running panel image v16 + TIA18/19 project without any issues, with TIA20 we might get some (since we need to upgrade panels images to V17), and we dont have time or resources to struggle with this kind of issues - so we stick with proven concept until we can - even if this means running TIA18/19 project when TIA 30 will be released :)

Absolute f**cling sh*t - just paid [snip] for v20 professional to find it just f*cks everything up - way to go Siemens, absolute f*cking garbage. Can't communicate with screens written in v16 - v19 absolute pricks.
