To enable these features, install PCS 7 OS (Engineering) for your PCS 7 version, which contains WinCC for PCS 7 and HW Config Integration, plus SIMATIC BATCH and Route Control if needed. Without these components, the PCS 7 Wizard will keep PCS 7 OS/OpenPCS 7, SIMATIC BATCH, and Route Control options disabled, and WinCC Appl. will not appear in HW Config.

Currently, your selection does not include OS Engineering. You have only installed the AS Engineering tools (STEP 7, CFC, SFC, libraries, PDM, etc.). To enable PCS 7 OS Engineering (WinCC), you need to additionally select the relevant components from the OS section.

• WinCC V7.4 SP1 Upd1 Runtime
• PCS 7 Basis Faceplates V9.0
• PCS 7 Advanced Faceplates V9.0
• SFC Visualization V9.0 (if SFC charts are used in the project)
• OpenPCS 7 V9.0 (optional, if required)

Installation Steps

1. Run the setup file.
2. In the Setup Wizard, go to Installation Type, select Package Installation, and click Next.
3. Under Program Packages, in the Engineering section, select PCS 7 Engineering for the ES PC.
4. In the OpenPCS 7 Station section, select OpenPCS 7for the ES PC (if required, otherwise skip this step).
5. Click Next. If additional components are required, select them in the Program window of the Setup Wizard, then click Next.
6. Click Next again and proceed with the installation.
