Hi everyone,

I am using the function OpenScreenInPopup to create popups in WinCC V8.

In the generated popup picture windows I want to have buttons that execute events and then close the popup. I've tried using the ClosePopup function, but with the passed arguments it only searches for objects inside the popup and not the popup itself. So if I pass the picture window name created with the OpenScreenInPop function it will not reference itself. And if I use the ClosePopup function with no arguments it gives me an error that the function is missing arguments. 

I've tried the ClosePopup function in the picture where the popup was generated (the parent picture) with the arguments being the picture window name of the generated popup and it works.

But I want to close the popup from inside itself.

Is there a way to use somekind of absolute referencing for the closepopup function or some pointer with the term "parent", or something else?

You can also use closepopup, but not from the popup itself
