Editing alarms externally

Esko Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, And thank you for your quick answear skimmer! The link above is pretty much what I'm looking for, but with that, one is only able to edit the texts of the alarms. How about editing externally the other attributes (numbers and classes) of the discrete alarms? I'm using the same alarms in multiply devices and the aim is to do the occasionally changes only ones (in Excel) and then exporting / importing them to the devices (in this case Flexible --> Simatic TP177B panel). Thank you for your help![:)]

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	I can see your idea but I think this will over complicate the process. It would be just as easy to have a single WinCC flexible project with all the devices in. There is a useable limit for this but as long as the PC has enough high spec you shpould be ok. The alarm information can then easily be copied from one device to another within the project. I think this is the best way to achieve what you want.
