How to trigger bit advices in WinCC Flexible?

I have a new problem with my HMI, i had work with AB Panel View, and the alarms can be triggered by one bit, but with WinCC i'm a little confused because the program ask me for a trigger variable wich needs to be a WORD and after can select the bit of that word. The question is: How can I trigger an alarm or advice for example with the mark M0.2 and another with the mark M1.4...??? On the other hand, how can I present the advices while other image screen is active...??? (if an alarm or advice occur, how can i display the this alarm over the active image on the screen...??) Thanks to all for the answers...

You understand the alarm trigger principle clearly. You have to allocate a word and then that gives you 16 bits to use as alarm triggers. If you need more alarms, create another word as before(or you could just create one array tag made up of a number of words. To display the alarm messages you must place an alarm window on a screen. If you wish this window to always be shown regardless of which screen is currently showing the this alarm window must be shown on the Template screen.
