Why Limited HMI Devices available in TIA Portal?

krishnakumar_eee Posts: 30 Rating: (2)	Hi Guys, Currently i am using TIA V11 SP2 tools. My Hmi device is TP177B 6" colour PN/DP. Due to unavailablity of my device in HMI device catalog now i developed my project externally by using Wincc Flexbile 2008 SP2. What is the reason TIA Portal supporting only limited HMI devices. If any body knows please clarfiy my query. With Regards, P.KrishnaKumar Hello P.KrishnaKumar, To do the engineering of TP177B You need atleast WinCC Comfort or WinCC Advanced or WinCC Professional. It seems you have only WinCC Basic (which is a integrated component of STEP 7 Basic v11 or STEP 7 Professional v11) - Using which you can only do the engineering of Basic Panels.
