WinCC Setup Problem

Eng_Muslim Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	i had a demo version of WinCC on DVD i tried to install it on several computers but the same msg appears every time after finishing the installation the title is "Information" and the msg is " licensing could not be performed" pls help me in that cus i need it in my graduate project. thnx in advance ahmed marmoush

Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I would guess that this is not an error and the message is occurring because it is a demo version. However, does WinCC run OK after the installation? If not then what problems are you seeing? Can you create a project? Can you activate it? Hopefully the message is just that and WinCC has installed correctly. Regards, Salma

Eng_Muslim Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	It's demo,but i expect that it will be workin for 14 days , after this message appears the whole of setup files be removed automatically.so no winCC on the computer :) i contact the technical support and they asked me about the windows version and i m waiting for them response. thnx slama ahmed marmoush

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (172)	Hello, please check, whether Hyperthreading is DEACTIVATED at your PC. If not, your installation is certainly damaged. I´d then deinstall your WinCC demo (including the reg-keys) as described for STEP7: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/189025 Then install WinCC demo again, you don´t need a license.
