Hello. Look at themanualfor FM458-1DP. There are connection tables and switch settings in chapters 2.2.4 and 2.2.5. But if you use 5V encoders you need external power supply for encoders, as EXM438-1 does not have 5V power supply. For 5V encoder you need to switch the appropriate S1.x and/or S3.x to ON position (look in the manual).

Dear KSN: Is the default set of S1 and/or S3 5V encoder? If I use 5v encoder , DO I need switch the DIP switches ? Thank you. |
