Chester_p Member Joined: 8/10/2017 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear collegues, Who has the instruction list for installation SQL Server database 2016 for COMOS database 10.2.4 In my case I have PCs with Windows Server 2016 and SQL 2016. I have COMOS Client-Server architecture. Clients will be connect to COMOS Database based on SQL via network. Perhaps, which options I must choose during the SQL server installation.

I have attached a Microsoft guide on how to install a SQL server: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/install-windows/install-sql-server?view=sql-server-2017 When it comes to the database there is only one setting that is important: Remember to set the collation to "Latin1_General_CI_AS", otherwise you might see some issues with sort order Hope this clarifies
