Slow communication

Dzintars Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I have WinCC flexible 2005 RTconnected to PLC S7 -226 directly with PPI cable. This connection is VERY slow. When I try S7-200 PC Access (OPC server) all works fine. Where is a problem? Why my standard driver is so slow?

Did you have a nother project which you can test the performance? If yes, what are, if you reduce the Project (tags, which communicated to the flexible RT) greetings,

Dzintars Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I make “test” project with 5 tags. Microwin works normally. Normally my computer use 2-4 % of CPU. When I run WinCC flexible RT on my computer, CPU meter is approx. 30-100%. Communication is stopped when CPU is 100% for 5-15 sec. I try install to other computer, the same.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (172)	Hi Dzintars, what kind of computer do you use (CPU, RAM, free diskspace,...)??? I suppose that your computer hasn´t enough resources to run WinCC flexible - you can find the minimum requirements for your PC in your WinCC flexible release notes. nemo
