I have a Laptop installed on it Windows 7  professional SP1

I need to install the Protool and WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 software  in a VM

So, I installed Oracle Virtual Box V6 but I do not know the best setting for this program(set it to the default setting) and installed Windows XP SP3(iso )

After that, the display not cover all the screen in XP VM.

I changed the display factor to 200% ,the display cover the screen but with huge font and the mouse arrow moves slowly.

The system in XP VM not recognize the USB ports and DVD Rom

Iam not able to install the driver software and Simatic Software in XP VM.

I know the path of the shared folder in XP VM but not found it.

I do not have any error.

I think the problem in the procedures and this is the first time to do that.

Do any expert  have a manual or tutorial explain these procedures with the best setting?

The Protool an WinCC flexible aren't released to use in a virtualized machine. You can checkit at the Compatibility tool

 This is wrong.

The Protool an WinCC flexible are released to use in a virtualized machine with out any problem.

The Flexible and Protool is not tested or released for Virtualbox but it sounds more like your issue is with getting XP to work correctly in Virtualbox.

When you create a new machine in Virtualbox and select Window XP then it automatically shoud select the proper settings. I have not gotten USB to work either so I use network to transfee files to/from the virtual machine.

You do need to install the Virtualbox addons to get proper display driver.

About the VirtualBox Extension Pack, you first need to download it from:
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Find the headline "VitualBox 6.1.16 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack" and download it.

If you have different version, then look at:

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_6_1

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_6_0

Then start VirtualBox and select "File -> Preferences".
Click "Extensions". To the right, you should have the same version of extensions as the version of VirtualBox. If not, then click the + in the right-hand side and select the file you downloaded and click Open.

Now the extensions are ready to be installed.
Now you can run the XP virtual machine.
When you have logged into the XP machine, you can select "Devices -> Insert Guest Additions CD image".
This will mount a cd in XP where you need to run "VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe".
It will automatically run if Windows has AutoPlay enabled.
