Good afternoon,

Last week i upgraded an TP1200 Comfort panel to from V13 to V17.
Since then i'm not able to download a program to the panel.

If i press 'Go online' TIA goes online without any problems. behind the project name and behind the panel are green "ckeck" signs, but when i press the download button (offline) it doesn't work.

First things first. In proneta the TP1200 is visible. It is connected trough the network on the panel.

When i want to download the program to the panel, I get the Extended download to device pop-up.
When i press Start search, The panel shows up in the target device area but i can't Load.
In the Online status information field it only says: Scanning and information retrieval completed. 1 problem found.
I cant select this message to see what is wrong... 

I've tried all ways known by me and my colleague to get it working but we can't.

Does anyone have the solution????
Could it be that the wrong image was installed during update??

IP-settings on the panel are exactly the same as on TIA.

Also the version number in TIA is equal to the version on the Panel

Check the following settings.

-In the panel:

-Check that the transfer mode of the panel it's automatic. 

-Check the transfer protocol (I recommend Ethernet over PN) and the IP of the panel it's in the same subnet of the PC.

-In the en engineering PC:

-Cehck that the IP of your PC it's in the same subnet of the panel. Try to perform a ping.

-Check the PG/PC settings. Select your network adapter with the protocol TCPIP.1.

-In the advanced load menu select the same protocolo that you selected in the panel (Ethernet or PN).

Check the FAQ "Why can you not transfer the HMI configuration to the panel?" (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/88633853),

to verify comunication problems.

To discard communication problems connect the PC an Panel directly, without any intermediate device.

I now tried every possible way to connect.
The only time the load button could be pressed was with USB, but then it refused.

What is or where can i find the correct .img image to load from SD card? I've got a strong feeling the wrong image was installed last week. Ever since the update this problem appeared.

 you could make a backup of another HMI TP1200, if you have one, and transfer the restore, there by USB or SD.

Prosave has the same problems. 

How do i know what image i need?
I tried to put an image (.fwf) on a SD-card, but that didn't work.

Internet says i need an .img file, but i cant find it anywhere.
In TIA are so many images, i wouldn't know which version i should install.

We don't have another panel. This is our test panel, and i need to prepare it for a customer.

I don't care about version no more. i just want to get it working... 
If you can post the backup? then i can put in on the SD and run it.

If that works, i can upgrade to V17 again.

That's the strange thing. When i try to go online, it works, and everything is ok.

When i want to download, the stuff just don't want to go...
I noticed that when i go online, the target device is filled in, and when i download, the target device remains empty.

It was different, but changing it didn't do the trick...

And if that was the problem, it should transfer by USB i think?

I can go online, so the connection is there. I just can't download to the panel.

Could you finally solve this issue?

I am having the same situation with a TP1200 Comfort Panel (TIA V16).

On my case, I did not change TIA version or even the program. Just went to download it after several weeks without uploading anything and it gave me the same messages you show in your screenshots.

IP is OK (checked on Panel Windows interface and on TIA Portal while going Online), ping test is OK.

Sometimes it does not even allow me to press "Load", sometimes it allows me but then it disconnects with the message that "IP could not be assigned" (even though it is the same one).

Have the same issue last week, can't get it work, load button won't light up.

Try to change to Ethernet instead of profinet it work for me. 

 Same way all the steps and many FW changes and this is the only way me too could download the prject with latest FW on HMI. I tried from TIA V16 to 20.
