Y-Link and 400H

Chris34 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello, Which module (IM153-2 or IM157) should I drag to 400H HWConfig to have Y-Link (6ES7197-1LA11-0XA0) correct configured ? I am little confused after reading FAQs becouse in most of them the module IM157 is used. By the other side Y-link (6ES7197-1LA11-0XA0) module completes with 2 IM153-2 (6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) modules. Chris34 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello again, If I correctly interpret attached HW Config I see IM153-2 modules for Profibus networks called B7-R and B1-L and IM 157 for B7-L. So I still don't understand how to use IM modules. Please describe it more detailed if you can. Chris

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Y link is a bundle, which consists of 2 IM153 (like 6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) and one IM157. They are located on ACTIVE bus. You woulnd't see "Y-link" in your HWKonfig. Youshould not use GSD files - you should use ordinary ET200M. You can find out what's inside the bundle by checking catalog.
