Hi,

I am trying this same procedure with IoT2050, but it is not working (at least not straight forward). I have tried:

1. Download the .tar.gz
2. tar -xzf cifs-utils-cifs-utils-6.6.tar.gz -C /anyfolder
3. autoreconf -i

In this last step, I got the first issue, but tried to solve it with "apt install autoconf libtool" and "apt install automake". It seemed to work and I did again step 3.

1. Then I tried ./configure and I got some warnings, about some missing packages, like kbr5 or keyutils
2. I tried make, but no makefile has been created (I have Makefile.am and Makefile.in)

Any hint?

Split from Read / Write file from a Windows Shared Folder.

If you are connected to the internet, you can just install it using:

apt update

apt install cifs-utils

commands.

If no internet connect is possible, here are the dependencies that have to be met for a 
compile success. Maybe that helps to track build issues down.
