Hi,

I've previously been using SimoSim without issue.

Yesterday, I went to use SimoSim and the virtual ethernet adapter is missing. I've uninstalled SimoSim and reinstalled it, without success. The virtual adapter is still missing.

I'm using Scout TIA v5.3.1.0 with TIA v15.1

Has anyone seen this before?

check th install logfiles of simosim if there is a error reported

Thanks for your reply. Are you referring to 'install_simosim_driver_log.txt'? 

What should I look for?

 I attempted an install again, to generate a fresh log file.

This time, the installation worked. Three things have changed, since my last attempt yesterday;

1) My laptop has been rebooted again.
2) Windows has completed an update.
3) I am in the office today, so the machine is on the company network, therefore maybe with different admin rights?
