Hello, i have an 6ES7314-1AG13-0AB0 damaged cpu and i want to replace it with the official,  from Siemens cpu replacement, which is 6ES7314-1AG14-0AB0. 

The problem is that the cpu is damaged and i cannot retrieve the installed programm. I can only install the Memory card at the new cpu which contains it. 

After the installation of the MC, i can normally connect to the new cpu and download the old hardware configuation in order to change the cpu order code to function the plc as it should?

You can insert memory card from old CPU which has program, insert it in new CPU, go on line & in hardware project change CPU. 

Do you face any problem while doing so?

Haven't done it yet.

I thought that this would be the way to do it but i was waiting for a responce to make sure.

You can replace the CPU without execute any change in the HW configuration..

The Procedures:

1-Turn off the Power.

2-Remove the old CPU 6ES7314-1AG13-0AB0

3-Install the new CPU   6ES7314-1AG14-0AB0

4-Insert MMC in the new CPU

5-Turn on the Power.

6-Execute the Memory reset (if needed).

The machine will be run without any problem.
