Need to debug UA client

I don't have access to Simotion hardware. Would the Simulator do? Is the SimoSim a product to purchase? Is there a "demo" or "trial" mode? what software would I need to configure it? Would Siemens Portal V16 do? Thanks D ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from OPC UA in SimoSim .

You can use Step7 V5.x/Simotion scout or TIA Portal / Simotion Scout TIA to configure the PLC. If you want to use TIA you can use TIA POrtal V15.1 and Scout TIA V5.3 or TIA Portal V17 and Scout TIA V5.4. in TIA V16 a simotion can not be configured, no Scout TIA available for this version.

Is there a free or temporary trial version ? If yes, where can I download from? Also, where can I download the Simulator? Thanks in advance D
