I would like to: Change screen and select the only input field on this screen. It has to be ready for input as I use a bar code scanner to enter value. It must be done without touching the screen

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 4443 Rating: (1487)	Hi, The concept of set the mouse focus / tab switch on IO fields just make sense in devices with mouse and keyboard, it doesn’t make sense on touch devices. Maybe you could do some script in the screen load event enabling / disabling the operation of the IO fields on your screen and subsequent scripting to release the operation of them after some user’s action.

The Focus() property is not supported. unknown user The`HTMLElement.focus()`method sets focus on the specified element, if it can be focused. The focused element is the element which will receive keyboard and similar events by default.

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 4443 Rating: (1487)	Hi IO field objects (and other objects) have the property "Enable" (Properties - Security - Allow operator control). You can control it by tag or scrpit (direct in the property or from other part of you program). There is a System function (SetPropertyValue) that could be used in this situation (or used as base to configure more complex script).

I opened a SR an the support told me that it's a bug, which should be fixed in one of the next versions.
