I have a LOGO! 8.3 and having problems connecting to the cloud, now on day 2 and many hours of trying.

I've followed various support threads on here in detail, seen other people's problems, mainly subnet issues, and am pretty sure I've nailed all the settings, however, I cannot connect to the cloud.  I continually get a 'DNS server is not available' error when I do the 'Test Connection'

I have an AWS account, and have registered my LOGO! as a thing, checked I have the locations set the same (east-2, US, I am in Australia though), can see the thing in the AWS account, but no luck. I keep getting a fail when I do the connection test of the thing through LSC.

So I decided to go back to basics and just test the local connections as this sounds like a local issue.

IP addresses:

LOGO!: 10.0.0.5
with gateway set: 10.0.0.138
My Ethernet Card: 10.0.0.1
with gateway set: 10.0.0.138

Using an IP scanner all my network items are on 10.0.0.xx

Router comes up as 10.0.0.138 on the scan
Also LOGO! shows as 10.0.0.5

(the multiple PC gateways, 254,253,252 etc,. are LSC's attempt to add more same subnet IP addresses)

Connections are:

PC Ethernet card plugged into router
LOGO! plugged into router

If I ping the LOGO! I get a good ping result.

Check my IPconfig, looks good

But, here's the thing, with this connection available, the PC can see the LOGO! and ping it, but if I try to connect in LSC this way I get a subnet error, which is weird as they are both on the same subnet and can ping OK.

Then if I press 'yes' to LSC's request, it adds another address in the same subnet to my Ethernet card, which is a little pointless as it already has a same subnet IP address

Then I get a failed connection message again.

BUT!

If I remove the router and connect directly PC - LOGO! with Ethernet cable, I get a LOGO! to PC connection fine, which suggests the router or router settings is the problem.

I have tried using my wifi connection for my PC, then a cabled PC ethernet to LOGO! and whilst this works immediately for LOGO! to LSC communication, I still can't get the cloud to connect.

It seems this should work, everything looks good, but I cannot find the problem. 

I have tried a manual instead of auto IP address on my Ethernet card, tried setting DNS to 8.8.8.8

This does not work either.

Any help most appreciated!

Hi,

If with the application example "LOGO! - Connection to a cloud" you are not able to connect to the cloud, you should still contact Technical Support.
