Is it possible to compare two hour counters?

I have a feeling I'm missing something obvious, but I'm struggling to compare the elapsed time values (OT) of the hour counters associated with each pump. My current idea is to compare the values and select the pump with the lowest hours run as the duty pump. This selection routine would be then run every 24 hours. I can read the OT values out to a connected HMI (LOGO! TDE), but cannot seem to use these values in the LOGO! program itself... Is this possible? If anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated. Regards Jon

The compare function (analog comparator) is only for this integer values (16 bit). But the OT-time is a double integer value (32 bit). How many pumps are you talking about?

Just one question: How can I determine what the internal addresses of the data are? For example, my first hour counter in the test program is B006, where would the correct words be in the internal memory? I would like to make the program universal, so that it can be used with a minimum of two pumps up to a maximum of four. This parameter would be set at configuration (2,3, or 4 pumps). Regards Jon

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/13/2026 Posts: 36445 Rating: (4548)	The operating hours are transferred to the variable memory via Parameter VM Mapping and then read back in as analog network inputs (high word and low word separated from the double word). Tools > Parameter VM Mapping. With 3 and 4 pumps (and then also be parameterized) it becomes more complicated and time-consuming, since the LOGO can't be programmed like an S5 or S7. It is then a resource consuming program. Since I haven't needed something like this before, I would have to come up with something first.
