I get the exact sameerror message with a 315-2 DP,configuredwith PROFIBUS connection to anMM440 .Did you find out what caused your problem?

but this isn't problem of resistor ON exactly. You need check also position where you have connected to bus. You can simply disconnect some other stations from bus if you set resistor ON on not correct place. In other case, with not correctly prepared DP cables, in some situations resistor set to ON also can make problems on bus, better say can make mistake about complete network functionality.
