I have a Sitrans LUT 400 and need change parameters, but is locked with a user pin different to default. How ca I unlocked it?

Hi Luis,

in the operating instructions, you will find the following note:

The User PIN value cannot be recovered in the field. Record a new user PIN in a secure manner.

So, I believe you will need the used PIN.

Hi Luis,

as Stefan indicated it is not possible to recover the user PIN in the field if it has been forgotten. We do offer the possibilty of sending the device back for hard resetting in the factory (chargeable, the device firmware is rewritten and the memory cleared, which resets the PIN back to the default value).

From experience, however, I suggest you perhaps try 1954 in the device. As this was our previous default user PIN I find a lot of users simply use this "unconsciously" when they relock the device.

If this doesn't work, then you have to send the device back for resetting.
