Hi all,

I want to set the value of the absolute encoder of a V90 drive with the FB 'EncoderAdjustment'.

I've been able to do this with a S120 without problem, but I can't seem to make it work with a V90.

I've attached a screenshot of the FB I use.

Does anyone know what I've done wrong?

please set the parameter "AxisNr" to 2. V90 internally has 2 drive objects (CU and drive) and the parameters for the adjustment is in the drive, which is number 2.

In some cases this works (about only 10%) but in most cases i just get an error from the FB.

status 8008 means that there is an error in the call of the RDREC (read record) function. Please check the output "DiagId". Then we can look in the RDREC online help which kind of error occured.

Do you maybe try to test the adjustment and do this quite often one time after each other? This would lead to big traffic to the drive and the drive is "overloaded" from acyclic commands. In general: Are there other acyclic commands that you send to the drive which could overload it and make it not responding?

We are thinking of changing strategy (Sinapos homing and p977 for saving to flash).
