Simatic 5.6Upd2 to Simatic 5.7

Dave_F Regular Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Just upgraded using the TIA portal 17 SUS package and upgraded from Simatic Manager 5.6upd2 to 5.7. Opened an existing project which was generated in 5.6 and got the usual software package missing message. Did the standard check on required software and executed which came back with SIMOTION not installed even though I'm running Starter Ver5.1.1.2. Have I lost my drive config from the project or do I need another update ?

It has no mention of known problems relating to the install and does not mention the need for reinstall of other packages. Maybe if they had been part of the SUS It may have been clear that a reinstall was required. (Maybe - Maybe not). Attachment ReadMe.pdf (712 Downloads)
