Sensitive TDE parameter access

I have an issue with it: when the LOGO is in operator mode, one can still access the TDE parameter, and thus change the IP adress, the subnet and other stuff like the character set used, that could sever the connection between the LOGO and the TDE. Is it possible to prevent the access to these parameter on the TDE when in Operator mode on the LOGO? thanks in advance, i can provide additionnal informations if needed.

I have a LOGO! 8.3 of the first hour, but I have updated the firmware to version V1.83.02. And I have a TDE of the first generation , firmware V1.08.01. I tested with operator mode and I can't chanced sensitive parameter, I have no access to this parameter in operator mode.

ClemENG Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, thanks for your quick answer i have the same firmware version (1.83.02) for both the TDE and the LOGO. When i switch to operator mode on the logo and on the TDE, i can't change the LOGO's IP adress or subnet or any important settings, the LOGO is working as intended in operator mode. But i can still change the TDE's IP adress, subnet etc, severing the connection instantly.

I have one more question i just discovered, if you change mode from admin to operator on the LOGO, does it change the mode your TDE is into when you go to LOGO Settings on the TDE ? I just had my LOGO and TDE both in admin mode, changed the logo to OP mode from the LOGO menu, and yet the TDE access to the LOGO remained in admin mode, and i could stop the program from the TDE. Just want to know if it's the same on your side. thanks for your replies

Switching to the admin mode on the respective device (LOGO! or TDE) only affects the respective device, but only in relation to the LOGO!. If the operator mode is switched on in the TDE, only the "LOGO! settings" menu is reduced in the TDE, in which LOGO! everything stays in admin mode. If at the LOGO! the operator mode is switched on, is only in the LOGO! the "Setup" menu is reduced, in TDE everything remains in admin mode.
